What is Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain laminate (dental veneer) is a thin porcelain coating with a thickness of 0.3-0.5 mm that is applied only to the front surface of the tooth. These veneers, which are custom-made in the dental laboratory, are preferred to aesthetically improve the color, form and size of the tooth. Unlike the zirconium crown, the lamina does not cover the entire surface of the tooth, but only the visible front part.

It is a type of laminate with traditional porcelain content. It has high light transmittance and provides an aesthetic that is very close to the natural tooth appearance.
Produced from lithium disilicate ceramic, e.max offers both high aesthetics and better mechanical durability than feldspathic laminate.
In no-prep laminate, the tooth is not processed at all or very little contact is made. This option can only be applied to patients who meet certain anatomical and aesthetic conditions; Not every case is suitable for no-prep.

How many years does lamina last?
Depending on oral hygiene, living habits and regular dentist check-ups, laminates can generally be used for 10 years or more. If there is a habit of teeth grinding, it is recommended to use a night plate.
Will teeth be sensitive after laminate?
In cases with minimal preparation, temporary sensitivity may be experienced after the procedure. This condition usually subsides within a few days.
Can laminates be removed and replaced?
It is theoretically possible in no-prep cases. In cases where preparation has been made, removal requires restoration of the tooth. It is recommended that you discuss this issue in detail with your physician during the examination.
